The Line × Adrift Moodboard.
The visual language for The Line × Adrift — an ultra-luxury boutique hotel integrated with a private members club under a single brand. The moodboard opens with direct brand reference from Chef David Myers' existing ADRIFT hospitality portfolio (the canonical source), followed by the broader visual language the architecture should carry: tropical brutalism softened by Japanese restraint, raw concrete, honest timber, controlled light, the dignity of empty space. Every image is a reference for the appointed architect, never a specification.
Adrift Hotel · Brand Reference
Direct reference imagery from Chef David Myers' ADRIFT hospitality portfolio. The existing brand language the Seseh property will extend — not visual inspiration, but the canonical source the architecture must read as part of.
Architectural Language
The envelope. Tropical brutalism softened by Japanese restraint. Raw concrete, honest timber, controlled light, the dignity of empty space.
Members Lounge
The room members gather in. Low light, deep seating, the instinct to linger. Built for conversation, not circulation.
Community
People moving at their own pace, around shared rituals. The feeling the building should hold.
Contrast Therapy & Bathhouse
Cold plunge, steam, sauna, Aufguss. Recovery as ritual. Stone, water, steam, silence.
Private Bathroom
Guest-room and suite bathrooms. Stone-and-oak restraint. The private room as retreat.
Members Pool
The club-side pool. Quiet water, long edges, landscape over spectacle.
Hotel Pool
The guest-facing pool. Architectural in plan, generous in scale, intimate at the edge.
Grab & Go / Ground Floor F&B
The street-facing, daytime face of the building. Legible from outside, welcoming within.
Furniture & Joinery
The vocabulary of objects. Considered pieces in timber, leather, stone and steel. Built-ins that read as architecture.
Lighting
Warm, layered, dimmable. Ingredient-driven. Signature pendants at bar and pass; task at prep; wash on landscape and trees.
Art & Curation
Art is not wallpaper. Selected with the same seriousness as the building itself.
Greenery & Landscape
Living material as architecture. The garden as the largest single room.
Wayfinding
Signs and graphics that disappear into the material. Type that behaves like building, not like branding.
