The Line Bali · Team

Built by operators,
not promoters.

The Line is run by an operating leadership team that has built, funded, and run complex hospitality, real-estate, and high-performance businesses, from Michelin kitchens and luxury brand houses to Olympic sport and competitive fitness, advised by operators of leading international members clubs and by capital-markets veterans.

Founders & Leadership

The people running it.

An operating leadership team that owns capital strategy, food and beverage, hospitality operations, creative direction, athletic programming, and the daily culinary and performance program.

Ian Chadsey
Founder & CEO
Ian Chadsey
Ian founded The Line and leads the venture end to end, from capital strategy and structuring to concept, brand, and operations. He brings more than twenty years in institutional real estate and capital markets, with senior roles as Managing Director at CBRE, Director at JLL, and Director at Halliburton, where he underwrote, structured, and managed large, complex assets. A former Olympic-level athlete, he pairs that institutional discipline with a practitioner's understanding of training, recovery, and community, the foundations of The Line's five-vertical model. He has personally funded the project's diligence, PT PMA formation, and legal groundwork, and assembled the brand, the membership model, and the operating team that make the club deliverable.
David Myers
F&B and Hospitality Director
David Myers
David owns The Line's food-and-beverage and hospitality direction, every F&B touchpoint from daily member dining to the rooftop bar and the chef-in-residence program. A Michelin-starred chef, he earned stars at Sona in Los Angeles, was named Esquire's Chef of the Year, and has been recognized by the James Beard Foundation. He founded the ADRIFT restaurant portfolio, which spans more than twenty restaurants across three continents, and brings that global culinary and hospitality credibility to the club.
Sergio Perera
Performance Nutrition & Culinary Director
Sergio Perera
Sergio leads The Line's daily culinary and performance-nutrition program, the everyday fuel that separates a high-performance club from a restaurant with a gym attached. A Spanish-born chef, he trained in the kitchens of ARZAK, Mugaritz, and Albert Adrià's elBulli world, with kaiseki training in Kyoto, and went on to found ORA in Sydney. He has worked as a private chef and performance nutritionist to an international roster of high-profile clients, served as a 2023 guest judge on MasterChef Australia, and authored the cookbook A Memory of Taste. He co-leads campus food-and-beverage menu development, and separately leads the standalone Seseh Brewery as its creative director.
Danny Gonzales
Creative Director
Danny Gonzales
Danny leads The Line's creative direction. Formerly Creative Director at Giorgio Armani and Cartier, he shapes brand systems end to end, interiors, digital, wayfinding, and cultural-programming design, ensuring the physical environment justifies the membership and reads as one coherent voice across every surface.
Jeff Halevy
Founding Technology Partner
Jeff Halevy
Jeff leads The Line's technology and membership-platform vertical: the AI layer powering member personalization, concierge automation, and retention; the end-to-end membership system from acquisition to billing; the data architecture, security, and privacy beneath the club operating companies; and the Remote membership product. He has led technology and growth ventures for two decades, most recently as founder of Continuum in New York, which he built and exited in 2026. His engagement is equity-based with cash deferred and capped until first close, and he is personally forward-deployed through the Bali go-live. The platform partnership's full commercial terms, including its continuity protections, are disclosed in the Summary of Indicative Terms.
Justin Malcolm
Hospitality Operations & GM
Justin Malcolm
Justin owns campus-level hospitality operations, the systems, service standards, and day-to-day running of the club. A thirty-year hospitality veteran and Managing Director of JPA Worldwide, he was named best General Manager in Ho Chi Minh City by Travel + Leisure in 2024 and led the repositioning of Sheraton Maldives through the global financial crisis. His career spans luxury resort operations, openings, and turnarounds across Asia and the Indian Ocean, the operating backbone a multi-vertical club requires.
Tsoler Jekalian
Members Club General Manager
Tsoler Jekalian
Tsoler runs the members club day to day, daily operations, programming cadence, and food-and-beverage service standards. A senior food-and-beverage operator, he has held leadership roles across Singapore and Hong Kong's top-tier venues, including 1880 and The Nanson, and brings that members-club service discipline to the floor. He owns the member experience from arrival to last call.
Inge de Bruijn
Athletic Programming Director
Inge de Bruijn
Inge owns The Line's athletic programming and performance culture, the Training Ground methodology, the Athlete-in-Residence program she founded, and the high-performance member proposition. A four-time Olympic gold medalist and one of the most decorated swimmers in history, she sets the standard for how members train, recover, and compete, and gives the club's performance vertical genuine, lived credibility.
Justin Fallon
Head Coach
Justin Fallon
Justin leads coaching and day-to-day programming at the Training Ground, athlete development, and the competition-format community that gives the club its accountability. A seven-time regional competitor in competition-grade functional fitness, he brings the practitioner credibility that separates The Line from a conventional gym floor and turns a training facility into a cohort.
